Jewish Federation Apartments offers subsidized apartments for individuals 62 and older, or 18+ and mobility-impaired. Jewish Federation Apartments is an apartment building designed to meet the particular needs of elderly and mobility-impaired adults. Sponsored by the Jewish Federation of Greater Buffalo, the goal of the building is to enable tenants to live as active members of the community in a safe and affordable setting.
Located on a four-acre suburban site, the six-story building contains a total of 150 individual apartments. These include:

- 5 two-bedroom units
- 13 one-bedroom units (modified for wheelchairs)
- 2 two-bedroom units (modified for wheelchairs)

Residence is open to persons 62 years of age, or older, and mobility-impaired individuals over 18 years of age (and their families, for those who qualify).

Summer is here and what a great time to live at Jewish Federation Apartments. There is a beautiful outdoor area with a covered patio, tables and chairs and a great walking path to Wegmans in one direction and the gazebo on Essjay in the other direction...easy to get out and visit the geese or see the ducks down the street.
Call 631-8471 to set up a tour. We would love to show you our beautifully remodeled apartments and the lovely common areas available to residents. The many conveniences of living next door to Wegmans and the Buffalo Medical Group as well as in a beautifully landscaped outdoor area. We also have the advantage of transportation from the Amherst Senior Transportation Service five days a week to go to the Amherst Senior Center, the Jewish Center, and a different shopping area each day.
If you have ever thought about moving to rent assisted housing now is the time...the waiting list is the shortest ever so you are able to apply and get an apartment in a very short time (3-4 months right now). Where else can you live for 30% of your income (or less) and be next door to Wegmans as well as close to every possible convenience?
